I feel like the only places a doctorate is useful is in the research field or academics and generally neither actually pay that well for the doctorate to be worth it.

To be fair, the app being posted is the server application which you can run locally. You do not need the phone application to use the web application. The mobile app is also open source https://github.com/wger-project/

*EDIT* I could be mistaken. I went back and dug into it more. Perhaps, the main issue here in the US would be plugging into the grid.

This sounds like a nice idea but I would imagine either their electrical usage is _really_ low already or this is being given more praise than it deserves. From the article, it seems like they're typically installing 2 - 300-watt solar

Pretty sure OP meant apartment landlords/owners. I can see how you mistook it though, I had to read it a couple of times. Initially, you think individual apartments (i.e. renters) not apartments as in the owners/landlords of the a

Blog for yourself. If it helps others then great but if it helps you, that’s what matters. Over time you’ll get better and it could help a lot more people.

I really like Hugo but I couldn’t ever find the right look and theme that I liked and spent way too much time on it. I decided to just create markdown posts on GitHub on that special user repository where the readme contents end up on your

That's a very pessimistic way to bring that up. I was thinking similar, except, "I wonder how this works with non-Apple users?". Instead of jumping straight to how evil this is.

Seems like it's just a PR for removing it from the government website? Also, looks like they're adding a deletedAt field and soft deleting items in the database rather than hard delete.

This is weird. When you say “query builder” I’m thinking of something associated with an ORM so it already knows the table specifics and you don’t have to initialize it with “SELECT * FROM table”.

Is this just for running and managing github actions? I was actually thinking this was going to help for developing github actions? Like, autocomplete, syntax checking, linting, etc.

One thing I would keep in mind is that you're most likely going to have to maintain both communities for a long time to get people to transition to the new one. What sort of features are you looking for in a community platform?
