Redshift is pretty nice too, if you are on Linux. Unfortunately, f.lux experience isn't so great on Linux.

there are lot of hard bugs in embedded Linux development. But once solved, its not hard anymore :) For example, code porting for different architecture could be tricky in some places. Porting a device driver to your new chip could be tricky

Good thing is servo team is supporting API compatibilty with chromium CEF project. That mean, if you write an html5 app using CEF, it will just work so with servo engine as well.

commit to same api as CEF project is very nice feature. This will give application developer to choose between CEF or servo. I think many will give servo a try if it works fine.

supporting your game engine for Linux is great for overall PC game ecosystem and not just Linux. Also, for a casual gamer, its a win as they can probably buy a 20$ game and run it on a Linux laptop without needing to buy the PS machine. I m

it may not be easy, but with the progress made by other game engines in last few months, running your game on linux is now a reality and as easy as making it for PC (with little effort).
