Many scammers with AT&T now connect you to real AT&T tech support but just listen in.

It’s more about consistency. Whatever is comfortable comes first, and should be done at the same time as finding what works (i.e. is good hardware: good sensors, keyboards (and with newer custom boards some have strange firmware latenci

I use m1 max in work and personal projects and have done so since November. I primarily work in *ops, choose your flavor (dev/sec/ml/net). The only issues I have ever really ran into were: RKE had issues on arm early-on. Rand

I don’t see a world that maintaining everything forever is viable. Things should die, be it software, silicon, or flesh.

I don't see the point of evading Dockerfiles. All of these customizations to me seem like they're just doing what you would do in a Dockerfile for creating a base image, but in a non-friendly way for people not using Dock. From re

I don’t understand why this person is using network controls to deny access to Microsoft services. There’s plenty of reason to allow Windows update to download outside of some corporate VPN (especially for remote users, why use bandwidth ov

This is absolutely spectacular. I have written up details for an internal service that we were to start a sprint on next week, that has the exact same bits of software. We're looking to build a Teleport alternative as the enterprise pr

Enterprise support is important for adoption in large orgs in the US. Nobody got fired for buying IBM. It takes champions and a lot of focus to get something like this started. You have to have a third party to provide support and expertise

My individual dedicated office is at my house. I don’t want to drive any amount of time to sit in a room at a computer and do the same thing. Sometimes I want to work elsewhere, and will go to the park or just sit in a parking lot somewhere

This is my first thought of how to do my own VPN in a hostile environment, with the term VPN do you think of consumer VPNs? (Mullvad, Nord, etc.) When I moved to university, bandwidth was limited in the dormitory to 1mbps/user (in 2016

As with all things, there’s a lot of flex in there. In our environment, if you don’t use it in 90 days your license goes back to the pool. If you log back in after that, you immediately gain it back. Your user is just disabled, not deleted.

We have a lot (upper hundreds) of the Canvas Go! Plus cards from Kingston. I'll see if I can get some more details. Basically any UHS 3 or better card our supplier can provide. A little over 300 of the Samsung EVO Plus cards.

Amazing levels of transparency in this statement, which feels like a breath of fresh air to read in terms of clarity and openness. Will have to check out Wasmer :)
