Nice! Is it open source? FYI, me and three others developed one for plants as part of GovHack hackathon [1]. The information is sourced from Atlas of Living Australia database. One of these days, I'll pick up the code and complete it :

I love the developer experience that Heroku provides, however I wish the would lower their prices a little bit and/or introduce additional pricing tiers. ## The dynos are quite expensive by current standards AWS has been continually dr

It's fine when you are targeting one browser with a specific version (e.g. developing an internal web application with IE8 baseline). However, when you are building a web application targeting various browsers and versions, there will

One thing missing from KendoUI for me is the TreeGrid. Last I checked (a few months ago), it's still not available. It's an important component in our solutions.

Have they recently moved to a different pricing model? The homepage says free, but the pricing page states $35 - $100/month. I would guess they mean self-host is free, and the prices refers to hosted / managed instances. In which

Why is offering sympathy stupid? At the very least, this is the acceptable social norm regardless of the other person's stature / social standing, is it not?

I was involved in the Australasian Formula SAE competition back in 2002. In a gist, it's pretty much a startup experience, condensed. It was my penultimate year at University, and I was looking to gain some work experience. I worked ma

I think it's more to do about branding consistency. Azure is far more than just 'Windows' now, you have: Media Services, CDN, Mobile Services, Cache, etc.

That's quite the straw man. The key here is that the founder's wife has a regular presence in the office. Plus, a founder is in a vastly higher position of authority than an employee (be it a manager, or else). So it's not to

The way it was perceived in Indonesia, is that Path had been bought by the Bakrie group. I think in the bigger scheme of things, the $25M is a 'marketing' money well spent. Reason being, Aburizal Bakrie looks to run for the presid
