There's a perverse incentive to jail people driven by the stupid war on drugs. Besides, if someone steals a bread leaf, they might go to jail at the expense of the whole society. This has to change. Justice should not be punitive, but

You don't see that most proof-of-stake still requires a tremendous amount of energy and resources wasted at the very least for the stupid mining process?

Yes, like most if not all current cryptos: it's either stupid energy waste or fraud.

Society is losing the opportunity to create a lot of wealth because people are investing in silly proof-of-work (or: energy/resource wasting) ideas. It's awful, and I guess we're only going to see this over once Bitcoin is su

If you're this worried about being tracked, you can always choose to turn off cookies, JavaScript, and maybe try the ToR browser. No problem with this either! If I placed a magnetic beacon holder in my arm, I sure wouldn't bother.

You didn't get the core idea of my calculation: to show that Netflix has times of magnitude more than just 36k hours of content.

I'd advice you stop charging and just place Amazon ads on your page. Besides being safer as people said, it'd easily generate more money for you. Ads are not "worse", and it's going to be safer for you, and you coul

Back-of-the-envelope calculation: a slacker suffering from insomnia watching 5 streams of Netflix at once × 20 hours/day × 365 days non-stop would otherwise watch the whole catalog in less than a year. Convinced?

The way you said it, I imagine that you'd be willing to let a 'less errors' (instead of 'few errors') slip without trying to educate whoever made the error about this, if you were reviewing something (for example).

State just knows to increase taxes and do war. No, thanks. Let people flourish in peace. We need liberty to grow as individuals. Otherwise, we're going to end up having only crony corporations and statism.
