Bought Thinkpad P52 in 2018. Still going strong almost 6 years later. Running Fedora on it. I've been a Thinkpad user for over 20 years now but also using MB Air alongside for a few years. My next laptop will again be Thinkpad.

Luton is 40 minutes away from St. Pancras International. I find both Luton and Stansted close to London, especially Luton with a really good Thameslink connection.

Exactly this. I threw bread out of my diet and counted calories for a year. I ate plenty of chocolate and sweets but still lost a substantial amount of fat. 0.5-2kg a month, depending on a month. All together I lost 16kg in a year.

Looks like someone commissioned this Serbian company to make machinery for making shells. Not clear if it was a German client.

New Honda CR-V is PHEV if you want it. We have previous hybrid model and I tested the new one. It's amazing. The only minus point is that it became even bigger.

In the last few days two people told me they are not happy with their EVs. One already changed back. I really want an EV but reading all the forums and what kind of issues people have really puts me off. I love our hybrid and when it runs o

We successfully onboarded a few grads and interns these last three years and all are productive team members today with a clear path for career progression as well. Some of them were already promoted to positions with more responsibility. I

In UK if you want cheap and decent and sometimes even good quality go for Polish furniture. There's a Polish couch warehouse in Edgware where you can take a look if you fancy anything. We bought a Polish couch for £1.2k. It's amaz

Not sure about your capability but what I see in most of new devs and techs is serious lack of fundamentals. I would start there. Once you tick that box it doesn't really matter what's next. You'll pick it up quickly.

The usual trap when people apply today's way and thinking to history. Thanks for pointing it out. Historians fight this every day.

This is my biggest issue as well. I love small cars and would love to have them again but you just can't see anything out of them due to every car around you being three times the size and two times higher. Can't see anything.

Rolex is seriously overpriced. Not sure why people are so excited about them. Grand Seiko for example has better movements, better Q&A[0]. Is name really worth that much? [0] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKrJOMaFuyA
