I feel the same. The reason why I started coding was at the end of 90s and I dreamed about building a "personal web page". For fun! Recently started looking for a new role and even though I have so many open source projects in my

Just found out that my sister posted this. This wasn't supposed to be shared and no, I didn't in any form or shape tried to promote any work, etc. Or pretend to be somebody else. The project was an experiment and was created as a

Yes, Freenode! IRC is way better because it's minimal, fast, immediate feedback and people seem to be more interested in exchanging ideas, help, etc - the community seems to be way more skilled than the new generation of coders who use

That's a good question! I think we'll ask the same question about Typescript in the future; I've integrated into a UI project I work with other people, to make one of our devs happy, but I won't use it myself. A few year

If you move to a different city, like Paris, Berlin, San Francisco, there'll be more competition; you may even end up competing against the people who are involved in creating and maintaining tools, like Reactjs, hypothetical speaking.

That's not the same, takes years and talent to play a saxophone. I'd definitely pay him better if he was featured in one of my tracks and I kept getting that sort of royalties a year. It's all a matter of respect for the art

You should definitely check Affinity! They have amazing products, such as Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo; I remember paying about 30 GBP for each license. It's way faster to work on, compared to Photoshop or Gimp; Load time etc.

This subject reminds me of a funny moment in a trip a couple of years ago; I travelled to the Phillipines with a few friends; One of my friends (white) said "Asian squat" is not possible for white people. I shit myself laughing...

You can work on your side project, or contribute to open source project(s) that you may use personally or at work. You're lucky to have enough time to play WoW, but you can use that time wisely. Appreciate it and use it for your person
