It does. I've got older games from the Windows XP days that had issues with Windows 7 even with the compatibility mode. My Linux box with proton was able to run it, ironically enough.

I paired up a 5950x with a $200 TUF 570 board - a middle of the road offering. One thing to consider is the BIOS version of the motherboard. The Asus one had a sticker with the build version, and what they were stocking in Microcenter was

The maths are about right for MPG. Time is what you (might) save. I'll get around that at cruise - 135kts or 155mph @ ~ 10gal/hour. Better fuel usage if you slow down a bit. Tempted to say if you slowed down to max Prius speed

Wait... the UV5R is a HAM radio? I'm totally naïve to the HAM and with the zombie apocalypse continuing, got the time to spend on those bucket list items. These things are only $35 bucks! That is screw around money. At some point, I&#

There is little worse than hoteling desks. One of the reasons our current facilities is a ghost town is nobody wants to use a hot swapped desk. Sure, we have an aggressive cleaning staff... but nobody wants to reuse a mouse/keyboard

Very early in my career, I did an open house where I chatted with their principal architect and got hired. A few weeks later, after I had been working for a week, I received a letter from HR rejecting me. I wandered over to the HR office

An Oracle marketing person reached out to me for some video clips talking about Java last Summer. One of the questions they asked is where do you see Java in 25 years? At that point in time, with a six month release cycle, the answer was

The nice thing about executive orders is they can be added by the next guy. Would be nice to see this as actual law, and not an executive order -- but if Trump cancels anything on his last day, Biden can re-do it on his first day.
