(Thanks skrebbel, I appreciate it. I'll checkout talkjs as well) Just to add, I have 8 recorders now in Limburg. Pretty much any large explosion we can localize to likely within around a 40m diameter location within a 7km stretch. Anyo

Okay I'll bite. Usually with large and important companies like ASML one has to be very careful with what you say. Usually it's better to say nothing at all. This time I felt I had to jump in and defend ASML as it was painting rat

The comments in that post are full of untruths. ASML is a huge company so no one person can talk about all of it. As with all large companies there will be great bits and bits that can be done better and the larger the company gets and the

Try searching how much money is lost by clients if the fab is down. You have to be very careful with software for fabs.

Instead of investigating tiktok, why doesn't the EU investigate why obstruction of justice by the government is not punishable. Why does it not investigate why they (The Dutch government) introduced a new law in 2020 that everyone in g

Back in 2011 I made a commercial product that ran on the earliest plug computers from global scale technologies. I only sold 20 of 'em and every single one of them was being returned with SD card corruption problems. I had to quickly p

Another nice thing you can do if you use the multi-partitioned memory overlayFS approach I mentioned earlier is you can make /var/docker be a symlink to your read-write data partition. Obviously you are going to have problems usin

Is anyone else using the StalkedByTheState security system? It runs on Jetson SBCs and works with the full sized yolov6 and yolov7 models. Super proactive detection and response https://github.com/hcfman/sbts-install

You can mitigate the SD risk by using an in-memory overlayFS mounted OS. The original one of the pi is for the whole image. For the Jetson series I create partitions so the OS indeed is memory overlayFS but there’s also a rw data partition
