IE6 was a pain in the ass b/c we were developing AJAXy web apps combined with CSS to make it feel like a desktop app (one page app kind of thing). I tried using Dean Edwards's IE7 script, but our client's computers were sooo old that their

Honestly, I'm so happy with TextMate v1 already that I don't really care how long TextMate v2.0 takes to get out.

Honestly, that's really not that bad. Especially compared to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGvHNNOLnCk

I'm confused, can I use my debit card as credit? Whenever I try to use it, people ask "debit or credit" and it'll work as credit.

Good catch, I formed an LLC way too soon and got stuck paying the $800 franchise tax in CA before I was even making any revenue.

I used http://icondrawer.com (their sets are less than $100, but not free if that's what you're looking for)

I feel worse for the users of stikipad.com. There were paying users and the service just shut down without notice. People didn't even get a chance to transfer their data.

I'll be waiting in line for Best Buy in San Jose. I'm looking forward for some sales online too.

What a nice thing to do for the holidays. I've been wanting a shirt that says something like: self = [[NSCoder alloc] init]; I've gotten a binary watch as a gift and loved it.

The higher the price, the harder it is to find it. No wonder I couldn't find the price on their website.

I remember it was a lot of fun. My friends and I were geeks and we had these RPG clubs, where we pretend fight in AOL chat rooms. It was like D&D, we all had a certain amount of health and used dice rolls to attack. Someone even made a

I worked at my college unjamming printers for two years. The interview was pretty relaxed, they just made sure I could use Windows, Mac, and Linux (our school used all three).

Thanks socmoth, I'm gonna go with gandi.net. It's a little bit more expensive ($15 vs the usual $10 a year) BUT it has a great interface. And you get free private domain registrations, which I think is worth the extra $5/year.

I'd vote for Wordpress, just use a cache plugin which will generate static pages. Unless you're going to do a _lot_ of hacking on it. Because if you don't like to work with PHP/MySQL and you're planning on hacking the internals a lot, you

I think this service is by the same guy as RailsPlayground. A RailsPlayground account is $5/mo for a regular shared hosting, plus you get a free svnrepository account (1GB, unlimited repositories, Trac, etc..). http://railsplayground.com/

Yup, I use WebFaction for all of my hosting. To make more money I should probably add referrals/affiliate links for Dreamhost and Slicehost. All 3 hosts are the most clicked on the site.

Thanks! I never even noticed, I'll set it up with a wildcard subdomain.

I set up djangohosting.org, which was just a static site w/o any server side programming. Affiliates are making me about 90/mo. It did take about 8 months for traffic to slowly build up to this point though.
