I’ve found shared app, shared database completely workable by utilizing Postgres’ row level security. Each row in any table is locked by a “tenant.id” value matching a tenant_id column. At the application level, make all requests set the ap

Definitely not common but I can think of a few cases. Global rate limiting data store for example.

Can you talk a bit about the tech stack behind this? I see <1ms API responses which is very impressive, curious to hear more about the implementation.

Active active geo-distribution, for one. If you want globally distributed consistent clusters, enterprise makes it possible through their CRDT based enterprise-only option.

Love what the folks at fly.io are doing with edge deployed containers. Interesting comparison with Cloudflare's isolate approach which they expanded on earlier this week: https://blog.cloudflare.com/mitigating-spectre-a

Your Stripe key might be misconfigured, FYI. Console is showing the following error when I went to the sign up page: "apiKey should be string. You specified: undefined"

Have you considered something like Pulumi for the glue? Love this idea, the ease of Heroku + the flexibility of Kubernetes would be amazing.

Question about fly.io: do you support HTTP/2? I have wanted to put gRPC services directly on the edge but most managed services make it completely convoluted to set up (the lone exception being Google Cloud Run).

While I’ve learned to work without generics, this is a welcome proposal. Many cases where we’ve been forced to use interface{} + cast could be genercized.

Unity does miss on a lot of things, but I'd like to point out one of its best qualities: the pricing model. Compared to Unreal, Unity is a steal. Despite Unreal's recent changes to not collect royalties on the first $1m of gross r

Hm, not sure I agree with some of those criticisms: 1) I don't think Go is in the Java (pre 8) realm of verbosity, but I concede it's not as compact as say Python. 2) Technically you can write single return Go but idiomatic Go le
