The NYT publishing straight up fiction, even clearly labeled, in their opinion pages isn't a great look in an age where journalistic credibility is a huge issue.

My wife and I basically do this with a joint checking account + credit card that we contribute to (somewhat unequally) every month an amount that is designed to cover 1 month's of expenses plus a little buffer. I find it makes it a lot

Gmail didn't come out until 2004. You'd be stuck with Hotmail in 2000. Google Maps didn't come out until 2005. Google Docs (and the subsequent migration of MS Office to web accessible forms) didn't come until even later.

I cook nearly every day. I have an open floor plan. My house does not smell like a restaurant. You just have to use a vent when things smoke and, you know, clean.

For a 230k loan (which means zero down payment which is unusual) to be $1500/mo you're talking about 6.8% interest. Rates are not that high on a 30 year mortgage.

I can't say for sure, but I'd bet a decent amount of money that the variation in scores for zips in the same school district will be quite small compared to the variation in zips for different school districts. I doubt the kind of

The College Board has been quite transparent about what data will be used to calculate the scores if you read the relevant articles. - Neighborhood environment - Crime Rate - Poverty Rate - Housing Values - Vacancy rate
