Son of a billionaire equivalent who clibmed and made his money running illegal drugs. JFK became president on drug money. (Is that status quo money? Dunno...) /me waits for the howls of protest.

Yeah I found Java really needs full ide support and yes that absolutely qualifies as a blizzard where I'm cuddling up to vim bindings on whatever the team chose for their ide. Eclipse wasn't all bad last time I did this but I'

Microsoft have made choices for vscode. Maybe even good ones? What %ge of languages supported by vim are actually supported by microsoft - or "the microsoft community?"

People made this very argument about tv. Your phone, like your tv is actually mostly quite boring and needs a bunch of flashy gimmicks to keep you watching, a la Letterman's "tonight's top 10" launch animations to try an

> Support for languages as good as VSCode Oh come on now that's can't even be close. Surely vim supports and order of magnitude more languages than vscode at least. I actually haven't found one without vim support yet, inc

In my experience vim emulation is great, almost as good as using native vim for keybindings, navigation etc but still not so comfortable. Like cuddling someone you love wearing blizzard clothing - better than no cuddle for sure but not the

Thanks for your response. Readme was not linked here. I looked and didn't find it in the parent link. Feel free to abuse my competence or, you know, link it in the discussion? Actually I'll do it. https://github.com

Seems this comment was a bit subtle for some people. Moving to a different set of quirks is not a step forward than continuing to use the ones you know. Regexes aren't de-facto standard; grep is different to egrep to perl to python to

sibling throwaway youtube link to interview with Jeffrey Sachs should not be dead. Disagree as much or as little as you see fit with him. Nothing there needs to be suppressed. How did it get to be dead? Seems odd.

The most appropriate question and one that will be scorned here, likely unasked there and even if it was no meaningful response offered is: "Why do you hate us so very, very much?"

Lenovo watch X. Use gadgetbridge and love it. Gadgetbridge vastly better than anything cloud based. Support for watch X is a bit mixed and unreliable - about which I am not complaining as I'm not helping the effort either.
