Out of curiosity, what sort of problems would customers typically run into? My very naive understanding is that it’s just the OS and then only even a distribution (just to emphasize- very naive), what would they need apart from some network

See step 8 on the installation instructions [0], the installer prompts the password, I don't recall firefox or chromium requiring that. [0]: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all

It’s time for a law that gives you the right to keep pirated copies if you own (as in press the buy button, even if it’s an indefinite rental) the original.

Quite interesting reasoning given in how many places the state intervenes and how high taxes are. Though then again not that surprising that they manage to publicly fund something and then ruin it, leaving the taxpayer in the worst conditi

I wouldn’t say they’re unfounded, humans just evolve more quickly to adapt through technology, giving access to previously inhabitable places. There’s still a lot of these left though overall quality of life would get worse in terms of livi

Well then they should leave. If corruption is such a no-no in the EU, US, etc., and businesses like Mastercard and Heineken, then this would have to become a tournament of the Qatars and Chinas of the world.

FIFA can only operate this way as long as the country organizations tolerate it, it’s interesting how something like sports that is commonly considered as representing a country is so massively corrupt and everybody is ok with it (and I’m t

To add to that: most sites just compare the features at best. I’m interested in actual usability and durability, things you might need more than five minutes or just reading the specs to find out. E.g. how do headphones handle multiple devi

Agree, the flat and tiny webcams aren’t really necessary at home or in the home office and I don’t know anyone who carries even the smaller webcams around. As long as it doesn’t look too bad, a larger lens and sensor would be perfectly fine

Yeah but pay many thousands per year for filing taxes etc and spend years to dissolve. Along with all the personal liability as director. UG is a massive scam in that sense, definitely not what’s advertised.

Not so fast if you’ve already moved on and not in Germany anymore. I’ve tried it, even set up an online fax number in 2021 to communicate with them, but there’s no real resolution. Also German post won’t properly forward mail anyway and to
