I think you need a better landing page. Right now it's tough to see what your app does right away, the font's a bit tough to read as well. The sign up page doesn't do a good job of showing pricing in a clear way as well. I'd also consider

I work with a SaaS product, and we've noticed that almost every customer that asks us for a discount right off the bat tends to 1. Have a low LTV and 2. Not be a good fit for us support and headache-wise. Just our experience.

I think that the author's blog is separate from his company blog. Looks like he writes not only about SEO (which is what his product is built around), but startups, code, and general business.
