It is a big mistake to think this is about Trump. Trump is a symptom of the dissatisfaction with the status quo not the source. Just go back and look at the reporting about how his message resonated and lead to his election. Your comment i

But in this case it was clearly a slam against anyone who didn't vote a particular way. It wasn't just some sloppy use of language to mean "many".

> Half the US population don’t wear masks as a political statement This is just wrong and a sloppy way to insult "half the US population". This sort of attitude contributes to the tribalism that is creating so much division.

This seems tremendously unjust to me. You're suggesting that an arsonist, for example, should be treated differently if they burned a building down based on their political ideology? How do you think the victims of these crimes are goi

So you are saying that the difference is such that one group should not be prosecuted and the other group should? What criteria are you using to differentiate? Storming government buildings other than the Capital is OK? How about we just pr

The difference is that we could have prevented the wildfire by putting out the small fires in the first place instead of viewing them as legitimate activities. Can we ditch the "treason" talk? It is just technically inaccurate. I

I agree 100%. Of course that is what lots of people have said previously about similar incidents coming from the left but calls for prosecution and stronger police tactics were dismissed in favor of the less-than-peaceful actions because &

If we are at the point that we have to have "evidence" (in the legal sense) that fraud has occurred in order to resolve the outcome of an election, then the water is under the bridge. Voting process and procedures should all be de

I purposely used the word "perceive". I think people, even with their real names on the account, view themselves as more "anonymous" online.

Seems silly to worry about quarterly stats several hours into an outage. The most obvious explanation is quarterly stats aren't generated in real-time -- which isn't "shady" to me.

I don't think that case is an example of the legislature being bypassed. That is an example of the legislature taking an unconstitutional action. The question in the Texas lawsuit doesn't challenge the actions of the legislature,
