I'll be interested to see how this plays out. The ACCC media release might make it sound worse than it was. In the included screenshots, there is clearly text that explains in pretty plain English. They left these parts out of the medi

You've posted almost this same exact comment 6 times already for this submission. I appreciate wanting to make a point, but the shotgun spam approach is just annoying for other users.

It's awful to see such a large reduction in force when MSFT overall is up 30% year to date. I haven't heard of other FAAMG companies making similar moves.

Unless you're referring to something else, I think you misunderstood the quote from the article. These companies suspended response to _government requests for user data_ in Hong Kong, not the accounts of Hong Kong protestors. That is,

Agreed. I don't think it would turn up any skeletons, more of the implication if this breach was in any way politically motivated given our recent election meddling.

Based on what we know, it does sound like the attackers had full access to the accounts. That's a really interesting point about direct messages. It makes it all the more interesting that Obama and Biden and were both targets with the

This makes a lot more sense. I can't imagine Twitter isn't using some sort of phsyical 2FA like yubikeys which are virtually Phish proof if implemented well. That being said, what was the employee's endgame here?

My University had GSuite for all students and faculty. Meet supports up to 250 participants for a normal call and Livestream only for up to 100,000 viewers. I imagine Microsoft has a similar offering for schools that use their products. I d
