This! I'm so glad to hear this straight from one of the maintainers. Python 3.3 is the first version of Python 3 that has made me stop and say, "Wow, this really makes my life easier/better". The sooner we as an ecosystem get moving on, the

They've been gradually removing support for older Python 2.x with each release, so it's likely the same will happen with all of Python 2 in the coming years. But that's probably a good thing. Python needs to keep improving, and Python 3 is

From what little of their reporting that I've watched, Al Jazeera has been of very high quality, and their "third party" point of view has been very refreshing. Best of luck to them!

There's a great reason. Browsers are advancing, and it makes sense to gradually take advantage of features as most of the mainstream browsers start supporting them. The hacks required to make older versions behave tend to pile up with time,

You can always still use CloudFront from Rackspace. It isn't bound to Amazon EC2 VMs in any way. You get much better transfer speeds when you're interacting from within EC2, but even outside it's not too bad.

This is a really common oversight. The thing that posts like this fail to address is whether, in their theoretical application's case, downtime is a ballbreaker, or a minor annoyance. There is no one-size-fits-all or simple, formulaic solut

I don't intend to sound harsh, but comparisons like these are absolutely useless. It's simply incorrect to make blanket statements on the pros and cons for each service without some context. The benefits and drawbacks are going to change de

I'm really looking forward to using this, but very much dreading getting us migrated over to it. I expect we'll be spending some quality time with south, and lots of mucking with our relational fields.

As difficult a time as EBS is having, it's good to see some other alternatives pop up. This will definitely put the pressure on the EBS team to clean up, if they weren't already under immense pressure to do so. A word of caution, though: Ra
