Hi, I made this some years ago. In fact it was the reason to sign up as a hacker news user :) I didn't had the time to update it, so some things are broken (login, auto complete). And the open source project never caught traction.

The site itself loads really slow. Makes a bad first impression for a platform service.

Wow, this looks really great. One small suggestion: can you s/git// on the git shell? because I'm really used to type "git <cmd>" in a shell and it's hard to change the habit.

Ok first question: Why only one button? Two would have been really nice for most things (like back and forward in powerpoint/itunes). Edit: Another one: Why don't you ship outside the US/Canada? I considered buying one, but I'm in Germany :

Thank you for the reply. I was able to cancel the subscription before it got billed. But I didn't expect it in the first place.

I'm quite disappointed with justin.tv. I recently signed up for a 1-day-trial and they added a $9.99 recurring payment to my paypal account. It seems a bit sneaky, something you would expect from a porn site, but not from a yc startup.

This is the perfect plot for a dilbert comic: pointy haired boss: "welcome our new financial advisor: mr. 50 cent." dilbert: "I don't see him" pointy haired boss: "oh, we just follow him on twitter, it's cheaper that way"

You might end up with a classifier that considers some memes and topics (tech, games) that originate from reddit as high quality and youtube centric stuff as low quality (mainstream media, music, etc)
