Truly an awful line of reasoning. To add a little substance to that comment per HN guidelines: they could be being investigated now, the gov may not have caught up with their illegality yet, etc. etc. etc.

What does a "signature" look like specifically, or generally if you can't be specific? Would love to hear about what is actually getting sent to the L7 optimized hardware.

I had a similar experience. Went out, had a single drink over about a three hour period, drove home, got pulled over for speeding. I think given the time of evening they just assumed I had been drinking. They gave me a BAC and officer also

The complaint is against Google, not any particular domain registrar, to be fair. At first glance it seems like you’ve botched this roll out for the (preventable) reasons mentioned above. Wordpress, although I didn’t agree with some choices

I use both, got a free Pixel XL and my work phone is the iPhone 8 or something, not the X for sure. I have owned both Google and Apple phones in my personal life for years each, and now carry both side-by-side daily. I'll say I general

“Revealed” is really clickbait titling. Reading the article, it has very little to do with AI, and nothing novel.

When looking at something like joining yc, wouldn't the prestige make it more valuable, because of the extended network and the increased reverence shown to it by outsiders?

Note the link in the article to throwaway credit card number provider (and yc company) Final is no longer valid because Final is defunct. Well, the link works, but you can no longer sign up.

I personally like the way we currently do software interviews. I got a nearly perfect SAT/GMAT through rote preparation (despite not doing so well in school generally), and brought this skill to bear on software engineering interviews.

This is essentially how Wordpress does interviews. It’s the best process I’ve seen.

May I ask if you're affiliated with Pinterest in any way? I'm reading your responses and while I have a very open mind, I feel like you're really handwaving the obvious (to me and many others) problems Pinterest causes and de

Looks like the majority of your bill -- $4.00/$4.39 -- is in hosted zones. It's $0.50/hosted zone, and you only need one for a single static site. So looks like with reasonable traffic, this jekyll setup is about $0.89/m

Yeah that probably depends on your personal situation of course. But I met many 18F'ers and USDS'ers through my friends, lots of people coming on between startups for a few months, some staying for years. They seem to match your c
