Not experiencing any stress due to work. What do you mean? Too much work? You don't like the work environment? Worried about layoffs or AI? Stress describes how a person reacts to a situation. Stress does not describe a property of a j

I have not encountered difficulties with timestamps, because every programming language and every relational database already has tools to convert a Unix timestamp to a display date in a given timezone. A timestamp is defined as the number

No one "is a bad programmer." Programmers have a wide range of skills, talent, and experience. You can only think of yourself as "bad" by comparing yourself to other programmers, or honestly assessing that you repeatedly

If your US employer tries to foist the nonsense M-B on you, refuse and tell them it’s an ADA violation. That should stop them in their tracks. You don’t need to explain or provide evidence of your mental illness or disability.

I will go against the grain and say I'm not worried about IDEs, or my job as a programmer. If so-called AI in its current state, extrapolated into the next few years, can do a significant part of your job as well as or better than you

We can only track impacts on the earth if we witness them or find evidence. The majority of objects that get through the earth's atmosphere without burning up will impact in the ocean, which covers 70% of the surface, and leave no tr

We probably can't know the rate of impacts, or the sizes of the objects that impacted the moon. Assuming the moon had no impact craters at some point and then accumulated them, the missing piece of data needed turns out to be: how old

I would use one of the many CRM systems already available, and adapt my business to it. Getting sidetracked with custom software development when that's not the core business and source of revenue is high risk and low payoff.

Not to crap on your idea, but convenience apps like this seem to mainly allow people not to simply ask. In my six decades I have learned both where I might find a toilet (Target, Safeway, gas station) and how to ask people when I need help.

Any decent accounting system can generate invoices and track receivables. Typically an invoice has payment terms: net 30, net 60, etc. The date of the invoice plus the grace days (e.g. 30 for net 30) gives a due date. Many companies work on
