I'm very skeptical that big game engines will have any impact on the web. The issue is they're built for downloading XX gigs of data to a hard drive. Not for launching instantly like say google maps 3d mode. Further, they re-imple

Their API lets you do almost anything you can do on github. Its whole point is to allow people to write apps that do all the things you'd on github. So, want to write a full front end for github? Do it. It's likely the github mobi

Every time I go out to eat I'm thankful that someone was willing to make that food for me. Food prep, especially at restaurants, is a ton of work. When I cook on my own and realize how much work it can be to make a single dish I'm

Paid $20 for a burrito and a coke in a dive taqueria in the SF mission. Just a few years ago that would have been under $10. Curious if they give a discount to the local Latino population who's average income is fairly low.

there is much more to good undo than this. many editors collapse edits into a groups and you can only undo by groups, not individual keypresses. This is usually desirable. For example type X then cursor right 60 times then type Y then undo

We recently switched our system to a heartbeat system instead of a timeout system. The testing framework expects to see messages (printf, console.log, etc...) often. So a test testing a bunch of combinations might take 45 seconds to run but

Not in love with GL as someone that's written GL drivers and re-implemented GL on top of modern APIs, but.... for me, the GL style (whatever you decide to call it) seems to make sense from a performance POV. I often want one axis or th
