The AI itself may be wide and shallow, but it can be a tool to accomplish things that are possible for human intelligence but impractical due to time, focus, economics, coordination, etc.

A number of people have written blog posts about doing their work in VR with other headsets, including development. Unless Apple's walled garden gets in the way, then it'll definitely be possible in the Vision too.

Or they could cooperate to make an open scraping engine to replace the APIs. A large enough group of volunteer devs could have a short turnaround from when Reddit messes up the front end to having the scraper working again.

The government could provide anonymous age credentials. A private-public key that neither the website nor the government can use to identify the user, but that confirms the user holds a key issued by the government verifying their age.

It's a point of reference. I'd argue it's unnecessary, but people still use points of reference in the metric system. Sure, a hectare is simply 100m by 100m, but people will still use their personal memory of a space they kno

I think you're misunderstanding what a household engaging in basic permaculture means. It doesn't mean that they have to grow all their own food. It doesn't mean all farms have to switch to permaculture overnight.

I'm talking about established prairie ecosystems. The plants there depend on saplings to be killed by fires before they become full grown trees, while they can recover from the fires quicker.

Dedicated bike lanes are totally feasible in a sparsely populated suburb. After all, much larger and more expensive car lanes are already in place. The main problem is that city planners don't even think about it. Recently there's

This is touched on in the article, but these mushrooms would have vitamin D2. Studies find that supplementation with vitamin D3 is more effective(lower dose for the same effect) and longer lasting on blood vitamin D levels than vitamin D2.
