As a recent convert to minimal dynamic partitioning window managers I do miss the Z axis to multiple desktops that widgets provided. As well as my home-grown widgets, lovingly coded.

Pfft. Those Olmec and them Maya sure were built on ceremony. Very ceremonious people, excruciatingly. All about ceremony. Every archeological find seems to be about some type of ceremony. I wonder where they slept, ate, exercised, hunted, c

Just discovered this today. The author says he's self-taught, it's his first attempt at Internet business, and he's been going through Youtube tutorials for about 2 years at this point. I just thought he needs some encouragem

If action is not an option and inaction leads to suffering, are you settled on suffering? That doesn't seem right. At least dedicate the appropriate amount of time to this, methinks. Put "explore immediate surroundings, going-ons,

I did mean for coders, of course. Pray tell how exactly can you be tested for coding speed? Or would it be speed / correctness? I can't really picture how this would work in an interview situation...

I use four suits of 13 weeks/cards, tied to local climate. Winter goes up from A of clubs to K, spring goes down from K of spades to A. A kind of a agricultural calendar. You know when to plant things in the garden, when the peaks of t

What kind of planning would it take for you to have a detox week? Do you have to call someone, tell them you won't be answering the phone this week? Do you need to notify your employer, work something out for that week to only come in
