Not only are you making a lot of assumptions here, you have a woeful ignorance of Chicago neighborhoods but throw out names of neighborhoods like you're an expert (perhaps obtained from listening to Drill records or something). Also, B

Perhaps you aren't familiar with the term. Graduate Student = someone enrolled in a Masters Program, Post doc, PHD program, etc. This is quite different from a using a recent Bootcamp grad, likely without any industry experience, as a

"TAs are TAs, all colleges have them; they do not replace full instructors, but some of them are worth their weight in gold due to their student empathy." Lol. TAs in colleges are graduate students. They aren't undergraduates

You can argue about the value of traditional education. But I think you would be hard pressed to find a university, even a crappy one, where it's up to the students to TA themselves, there are 100 students to one professor, and the cur

That might be true if the company was honest. But this was clearly fraud. So go ahead and blame the victim.

People who try to draw historical analogies to AI replacing humans say things like: "cars replaced horse drawn carriages. But we managed to adapt to that, the carriage drivers got new jobs." My dudes. We are the HORSES being repla

I don't see it as a jab at the Czech Republic. But I think it is highly unusual for a CEO to be based out of a country that doesn't have any kind of Company HQ or significant base of operations, and which is 7 hours ahead of the T

Why the vomit emoji after mentioning ERB templates? It's just HTML with ruby sprinkled throughout. If that's the best solution for the job, why use React or whatever flavor of the month JS framework instead?

This is pretty rich. I'd argue the worst kind of censorship is getting murdered/disappeared by a totalitarian government for speaking out against them. Kind of like what happens to critics of Putin, Snowden's current patron.

The field of web dev is so vast and nebulous, the idea that you can't learn anything new or that you've reached a permanent plateau in your career doesn't add up. Also, Salesforce development is a specialized field. What you&

I wonder how the rise of deepfakes will impact this topic. As deepfakes become more believable and prevalent, celebrities will be able to just label any kind of sex-tape type leak as a deepfake. So hopefully this scumbag's business mod

Well the value of any asset depends on the value that people assign to it -- it's all subjective if you really get in it. However, I wouldn't accept bitcoin as a method of payment because I'm not confident that people will ag
