If it's true that there's no real difference in libraries between 4.7 and 2.1, that makes me even more sure I made the right choice. I skipped a load of stress, and didn't even miss any important new knowledge.

I'm in a .net shop, and I've avoided most of the drama by sticking with .net 4.6/4.7 until now, and just ignoring anything to do with "core". I'm sticking my toes in the water with the new .net 5 now, hope I&#x

Well, any patents would have expired by now, right? So how could they stop a clean-room re-implementation? (That is, one person/team describes the format, another person/team implements a decoder from the description).

I don't think you can? That repo has the translations of the strings used by the "meta"-part of the service, stuff like "accessibility information". I can't see any text used by the actual tasks.

You'd lose the physical dimension of playing the keys. For the accordion you adjust the force of the air, so you don't have to use different forces on the buttons. It's OK that you find them with only your fingertips. That&#x

Looks interesting. Good job! Another REBOL-inspired language is Red [0], which also looks interesting. Maybe I'll actually sit down and have a proper look one of these days. 0: https://www.red-lang.org/

I agree on the conspiracy stuff. But GGP seemed to say it was the reporters fault, and not a compiler bug. From what I understand, it _was_ a compiler bug, and it's now being fixed. That's right, isn't it?

My single-player games all launch "gog galaxy" when I start them through the start menu. Honestly, if I'm going to fight against my software, I might as well be pirating.

Gog also forces me to use their stupid launcher now, and tries to trick me into "connecting all my accounts". I don't see any compelling reason for me to prefer them over Steam, anymore.

Qt supports the native platform accessibility on Windows and Mac, and "AT-SPI" on X11 [0]. Windows and Mac has been supported since at least Qt 4 in 2005. I think there was also some support in Qt 3. The archived Qt 4 documentatio

You are abstracting over a CPU and memory. Your abstraction leaks in that memory layout actually matters for performance, for example. Or if you have a bad RAM chip.

My big issue with JSX is that it forces you to use a pre-processor and source maps. If you have to do that anyway, I think I could use JSX instead of "pure" JS.
