I didnt try lsof. I figured it was a permissions issue and started going down the Apache rabbit hole since when trying localhost without a port it displayed a page with "it works"... I thought it had monopolized the whole localhos

~1 month ago, when setting up my new Macbook it took me forever to debug this. After hours of trying to mess with the builtin Apache service (thinking it was the culprit), I found a random blog post that said to disable the sharing feature

This is really cool, and a very necessary offering from Apple. But dear god their promo video (at the end of the page) is unwatchable. Is it just me or have these videos gotten worse? For example, despite being impressed with the new MacBoo

This is a classic example of a product that's not been thought through. half-hour and 45min timezones are ignored (and plain wrong when selected on the website). Not to mention it's not very practical as the clock is hard to read.

You know it still supports USB-C charging right? Rather than confusion, I would see it as Apple finally turning things around and getting back on a road that is less "design above all else"

I think interactivity is a big point in favor of JSXGraph. Maybe you can offer this as an additional (optional) module?

What many people seem to do is associate NFTs with art. Art is a subset of what NFTs are used for. We're in that phase where the first apps on the iPhone were the beer pouring ones, as that was the only way they could figure out how to

What really made me change my mind on NFT's is collectibles. Not so much random pixel art, but actual collectibles (e.g. think stamps, baseball cards, basketball cards, pokemon, etc). The success of NBA Top Shots is a case in point. Th

I've experienced this first hand: the autosuggest is scarily accurate and insidious at the same time. On numerous occasions I've auto-filled a 10-15 line suggestion that looked like it was exactly what I wanted to do, but made a

Random nitpick: the issue with color coding files is that you may have many different file types leading to colors that overlap. Case in point in the author's create-react-app example: in one of the scrolling "comment boxes",
