Well, maybe the purpose of higher education is to learn how to learn _for yourself_. That is: to find sources, read them, evaluate them, and synthesize them into a conclusion.

I made this for my own use (mostly solving and setting cryptic crosswords, and amusing my kids), and thought I'd share. I had some fun with JavaScript generators on the way. Similar sites tend to lack the ability to sort result words f

You would certainly hope that selling 3kW heaters was an indication of that, and that's what I used to think, but what I've read about EV charging makes me think that it isn't.

I think Renault in general are doing well right now. I'm very happy with the new Scenic EV.

Yes — in fact this is a problem with the high-power setting on our induction hob (which I think is something like 5kW). Liquids bubble vigorously before they're even warm.

In the UK, where almost everyone has an electric kettle, almost all are 3kW. Our electric circuits aren't rated for 13A continuous draw (e.g. plug-in EV chargers should be set to 8A or 10A), but they are fine at 13A for the few minutes

I agree, but I believe Postgres is just following the SQL standard here? What's even crazier is that writing plain TIMESTAMP gets you TIMESTAMP WITHOUT TIME ZONE, as is also mandated by the standard (the Postgres docs call this one out

Right. You can just search for /\b(\w+) \1\b/ and see what comes up. There are usually false positives of one kind or another.
