I'm old [and stupid] enough to remember running a floating-point-only raytracer on a non-FP PC using a software-emulated math coprocessor. I think I measured output in *hours per frame*.

TIL that it's not just me who finds the default text size on HN to be excruciatingly tiny. I'd presumed that it was just an unfortunate side-effect of aging and poor vision!

All gorgeous, but I'd like to see more quick/simple ones like 'Expand' because the slower ones would probably become tedious real quick after the initial novelty wears off.

Just last week, I abandoned a 7-day trial of some project management software because it was not enough time for me to feel comfy with it. Would have preferred a week or two more, even if features were somehow nerfed (watermarks, etc).
