If you develop or market products which are intended for use by humans, you should read this. http://www.amazon.com/Design-Everyday-Things-Donald-Norman/d... It is not sufficient to make you an experienced designer, but it is a serious st

Damn. All the "I work on my startup" responses in here are depressing. We need a startup that's a time-off matchmaker for the startup-obsessed.

I think you're working with an overly simplistic model if this page is accurate. http://www.memrise.com/about/science/ I also found it difficult to navigate to something which actually shows your product. When I realized that the Mandarin

For most universities, the transfer credit is evaluated manually at time of admission. For-profit schools are likely to be the major exception. Solve that problem, and you might have a good idea. Absent a solution to that problem, any imple

Two problems, IMO. One, there are a bloody lot of social media services out there now. Why you? You've got a pretty page, but you don't answer that. Two, "simply reply to our daily emails" doesn't sound very simple. You should give a more s

Either once or about six times a year (guestimating from Google) depending on how you want to interpret that. It depends on whether you want the oldest person as an individual or as a class. Good riddles shouldn't be forked.

In the beginning, there was light. On second thought, do we have to count "the beginning" as the moment of the singularity or as the time when the universe became transparent to photons? Gonna end up with a holy war over that one. Wait, it'

Most likely, that will just end up wasting everyone's time when it turns out that you do not, in fact, have any experience whatsoever with business development or product design.

Simple arithmetic says yes, there would be more competition for jobs. But you're talking about a dramatic change in US public policy. A first-order approximation is not sufficient, and higher-order approximations depend heavily on what gues
