Bought a Philips AC2887/10 air purifier (uses a HEPA filter) two months ago for my appartment, and it has noticeably improved my quality of life at home; I definitely can recommend it.

I have a conflicting relationship with "How to Win Friends and Influence People," and maybe some of you may relate to this. Disclaimer: I only read a small, initial part of the book, and I'll explain the reasons behind this.

Even if it's a PR stunt, what's so bad about this specific case? It costs Cloudflare little (this for one depends on how the mentoring is set up), yes, but it also provides a possibility for students to work on interesting problem

Could you maybe elaborate more on how to achieve this with Java, i.e., run an entire week and never get GCed? I would imagine that using immutable types is one of the tricks used in such a scenario.

I'm very worried about southern Italy; the medical infrastructures are not really top-notch down there, sadly. Disclaimer: I've spent quite a lot of holidays in the south, since both my parents grew up there.

Thanks a lot for the keywords; these are very good starting points to look for further stuff on the topic! Didn't know that there was a term (i.e., real-time computing) for this kind of systems / constraints.
