I don't live in NYC for the record, my point was more about not having to own a car than public transport, hence i gave a few options surrounding traveling through NYC.

You don't have to own the cars is my argument.

Honestly, its probably easier than having to handjam everything into Minecraft if something is built ground-up to be expandable by users.

Man, can I get that as a telenovela? I want to hear my mother in law explain the plot. I remember my mom watching novelas in the 2000s they were something else, nowadays they're all over the place.

> Honestly I never even thought about it. I haven't used a mousepad in decades. None of my friends ever commented on it. But I guess it might be a good idea, to prevent wear on the wood finish. Trackball.

Probably Mojo, it doesnt just talk to your CPU it also will talk to your GPU bypassing the need for CUDA. Its early days, but I see strong potential in Mojo. Currently its primary focus is GPUs for AI inference, but give it a year or two an

If you are pasting secrets into codepen you are probably really terrible at all other basic security practices.

The best code I've ever seen written were friends who don't code for a living, they code for the love of it, and you can tell they love what they are doing.

I don't know why anyone would paste or type secrets into codepen which is public by default... But it always seemed like it auto-saved / sent your code over to the back-end, going back ten years roughly?

Yeah I remember CodePen refreshing for me plenty of times.

Elastic has something like this too, as does Splunk iirc. Idk how all three compare I just know they can track DOM events type of stuff and recreate a flow video.

Pretty sure it always autosaved so this makes sense to me? I always assume it would send my data over to their backend, its code that ends up there regardless?

My passkey is synched with iCloud which has all hardened settings set to on, so if I switch devices (I have) its seamlessly. You can also export Passkeys is my understanding but I have not tried it. When I'm on non-Apple I can scan a Q

Honestly, I'd feel better knowing it has a reserve system in case there's any issues, even if the batteries have more than enough power, beats having it and never using it, than needing it and suffering as a result.

Flock is a new in this market, before Flock there were loads of cameras wired up because wifi was not considered reliable until recent times. I'm asking, how do you detect well placed, subtle wired cameras? My overall point being, thes

I don't trust the people who are building the models no. Ideally, if humans were not so broken and untrustworthy, then yes. I want the Jetsons future of robot maids.

Can you trust a model to sign a contract? Both OpenAI and Anthropic apparently can't be trusted to maintain models that wont hack other websites.

No if you read the book from 2007 which defined AGI, continuous learning was one of the key requirements.

Sign a contract? Learn things over time and retain them? Mind you, the original thoughts on AGI before Sam Altman started to water them down involved continuous learning, which LLMs do not do, their core data is static.
