From a mathematical point of view it can seem like that. But now pick a language like Nim, whcih also has a crazy regex to match symbol equality, and unigorm call syntax etc. and the IDE completions are much harder to find.

I am integrating Wren into a game via wrenbind17. My codebase is C++. So far it is relatively smooth. Wren itself and the fibers support and language in general are simple and great tools that have helped me a lot. But I also want to list t

I mean there are people who know totally normal russian and ukranian citizens like you and I and no government is entitled to put is in a war and after that choose who we can do business with. Russia, Ukraine or whatever country is not a bl

There is always a feedback cycle also I think. You can tell your manager why something could work or not. The manager is the responsible from the direction POV but it is also true that we are responsible to some extent of how we perform. Ma

This is a difficult topic. We evolved to the 40h/week mentality. This is a big luck for us. I think things should be more based on goals than on time itself, honestly. What I mean is: if you work 40h but you do not deliver anything, ho

Not at all. Computer science and engineering (I think this is different degrees in US but in Spain it was a BS + Master when I studied) is about algorithms, data structures, big O notation complexity in algorihtms, client/server archit

I am not a javascript-specialized person and I think it is relatively easy to grab once you understand 'this', variable scope and a couple unintuitive for loop code patterns.

Fragmentation is not the problem. The future of C++ is to have metadata exchange, at least the way I see it. This means that packages can be compiled with any build system, the one that fits you better. In the event that you cannot find a

The problem with the typical rants about C++ is that you guys are outdated. With Conan you can consume over 1,000 packages directly from build systems and with way more control than what Cargo seems to offer. Take a look. I did use it for a

Actually I know what you mean, but on the other side of things, thinking that getting involved in absolutely every conflict is a good idea... I do not know, I do not see it as a good solution honestly.

I am not talking about that. I agree with you about that. I have a good Ukranian friend also, even I visited his home some months back (in Spain). The topic is why everyone gets involved in things that are far and foreign to them.

Which takes me at why we have to be rivals (we people in countries), because government are rivals and monopolize trading and resources for themselves? It is very stupid that we passively accept those rules and let them drag us like that

I prefer to go jogging honestly and do exercise. Every fat-thin cycle makes you lose muscular mass so you should combine diets with exercise instead of getting unhealthy eating habits.

Ok but there was discussion about Haskell so I was sticking to that... of course if you can have functional as an extra without preventing imperative in the low level then you can apply the best of both worlds.

I do not think this is true. Async programming via channels in Go is a big win and way more expressive than what any C library can give you. Also, higher order functions and interfaces are good. On top of that they added generics. I think t
