It would be cool if you could "import" companies into this and have like a public library of various companies and better understand what they did. That would make learning about a company way more interactive. Although I'm n

Unpopular take on NPM: NPM is a very good package manager registry. It's just extremely popular because javascript is extremely popular and the entry barrier is tiny compared to other languages and registries. These issues would pop up

Any for profit company does not act with 100% pure morale moves. Some do less some do more good, where do you draw the line? Google does a lot of good too, educating, bringing Internet to people who never had it before, being a diverse empl

If you want yaml based configs and running on a non HomeAssistant provided OS you are already making it hard for yourself. This is not the most popular route and therefore also less supported my advice: - use a raspberry-pi with Home Assist

This article is filled with misinformation and seems unnecessary hostile. I think the only reason it got so many points is because it's a hate on Atlassian thread. The implementation seems perfectly normal, I would guess 90% of all dev

VMware is a highly complicated piece of software relying on a lot of internals of how macOS works. I think it's reasonable to expect that it won't "just work" I don't say you have to update, but in time security upd

This is really weird thing to complain about. When your partner builds her entire dev environment against a very specific version, packages etc. and then you expect it to just work next macOS Version? If you don't put any effort into u

As I commented[1] I think the syntax is flawed in the proposal. You need to weirdly create a magic string to define your handler. Why not make it an actual argument, then using already existing constants is easier. [1] https://gi

I am aware. but the browser engine itself is not the issue. The UI is. I use firefox on my iPad quite a lot and it has the issue of randomly going fully blank when opening a link in a new tab. Or the UI being stuck for a few seconds. Neith

I was a 10+ year User of Chrome. I loved that Browser and I tried Firefox maybe every 2-3 years for a day and was always unhappy. Made the switch around 3 months ago to Firefox and it's been great. I don't miss anything from Chrom

This just totally depends on your country and ISP. In Germany most ISPs don't even give you a dynamic IPv4, it's cgnat so you share with a lot of other people. But there are ways around it. I use Cloudflare Tunnel and that way I d
