This is what I wish all http clients could adopt. Use plain text files (IntelliJ already introduced .http files, which work great) Sadly it will never work because that would break 90% of the incentives to pay, which his having a sync syste

As far as I understand the ruling they have to have a USB C port on their device that allows charging. Removing the port entirely is not an option.

My sony xr-77a80j released in 2021 and at least sucks down 25W in Standby with Chromecast support on. I think it was more like 28W last I measured.

I own a Sony A80J and this is also what I was measuring. I'm thankful I did measure this before just blindly turning the feature on. I have a Bose Soundbar also with Chromecast and that one doesn't suck down 25W+ while on standby

Their cookie consent form already breaks a bunch of rules by being very much opt-out first instead of opt-in for alle the marketing and tracking cookies. This doesn't give me a good feeling that they are focused on privacy.

You need some form of backend if you want Server Side Rendering, and SSR is why most people opt-in to a React framework. And then you already have a backend so it's an easy jump to just using Nodejs on your backend as well. But a lot o

I think for me 90% of the joy of a mechanical keyboard is customization. - You get to chose the keycaps - You get to chose the switch type - With QMK/VIA you get to completely change the way your keyboard works (If I had this on a Appl

Personally my lazy solution to config files is using ansible-vault. It basically lets you encrypt your secrets and store them in your git how much you want. You then only need one password when decrypting the vault.
