Do you mind if I ask how you go about learning how to build Mac OS apps? I've seen a ton of tutorials for iOS but hardly anything for Mac OS.

It does seem like there's no single distribution channel that a Windows app developer can reach out?

Sure it might sound silly but sometimes it's not whether you can actually do the task or not. It's more of how will you approach something that you are not expected to do. Different people have different approaches. I agree that if you're h

We will probably never know if anyone is really holding something against us. Sure, someone could tell you but others might choose not to disclose that information. We just go with trust and gut :)

Watching how someone makes their bed shows their behaviour towards paying attention to detail. Even if they don't know how to do it, if someone chooses not to do or chooses to give up, it's clear sign that the person will probably not do so

Might I ask how do you go about creating those worksheets/problem-sets, etc? I've noticed in Staples that they have paper templates for those but I'm wondering if anyone actually uses them at all.

I'd prefer to see which products they kill based on data rather than just votes by employees.

Worked on Wordpress plugins and nothing but pure pain. It's a big mess and although it's easy to pick up because many people use PHP, it is a mess!

Can't you already do that with Google Docs? To be honest, I used Google Docs quite a bit for collaboration and I did try Rocketr when it first launched, it was pretty and all but it didn't meet my needs for project planning. Perhaps I'm not

I definitely see the appeal to that. Having some free time to work on whatever you want or even not to work at all is crucial and it just doesn't make sense for someone who has 3 kids and mortgage to pour all their time into startups.

True - I agree. But yeah, many cases we're faced with people who aren't empowered to make decisions and the people at the top sometimes probably don't know about these issues. All of them get squashed by middle management. So, maybe your br

Thanks for the comments, guys. I've just experimented with AngularJS and have managed to build most of what I need in less than a week. As a side project, I might attempt to work with the other frameworks as a comparison.

I think this is only one dimension. Player height, weight, left-footedness or right-footedness might also be crucial in figuring out how to beat Spain. At the very least, you know that Xavi is a key player in the entire network - of course,

Tim Ferriss talked about the 80%/20% principle. I wonder if the bakery considered the author as one of the 80% who's not bringing in the majority of the revenue. Although I think all customers should be valued and treated as well as can be,

Yes,that is true (I'm most familiar with Nichiren Buddhism so I can only speak for that). Every living being's true nature is that of enlightenment.

I can see similarities between your views and my views on Buddhism and it's fairly interesting to see how diverse it can be. For me, enlightenment is a life state that we go through on a moment to moment basis. We go through 10 different li

You've just said it right there: "They don't need you. You need them." It's how market dominance works. As long as they have a massive userbase of paying customers, developers/businesses will find it tricky to leave.

What's good and bad is pretty subjective :) To each his/her own. And it's not like I'm controlling him/her. I just want to know for my own sake - if they need to contact me, they can. If they are safe, I know.
