It's good they are improving and extending HTML, but still a long way to go. The HTMX guys have a few good ideas.

I read this neutrally, then in a positive tone, then in a negative one, and I agree with all three statements.

I am using Django and I do understand the sentiment. But everything old is new again. Today there is better tooling than ever for these tools. I am using Django with htmx + alpine.js and sending HTML instead of JSON. Breaking free from JSON

Agreed! Thanks for bringing this up. Epistemology is a hard subject. It's hard to know something in depth. And the more you know about something, the more it is to be known (fractal nature of knowledge). So believing that LLMs can unde

Thanks a lot for this. I use it everday and it brings me a lot if joy. We need more tools like this one.

You have no idea how many times you use it. Maps? Recommendation systems (the algo)? Other optimizations? BTW, to the best of my knowledge, dictation still has a high error rate.

I have looked at it but not updated yet, and I don't think I will. v5 looks more like React (effect, props), but it still keeps much of the simplicity from Svelte. I think they wanted to be more explicit so it better supports larger ap

Svelte keeps getting mentioned as part of next/nuxt/svelte, but my experience with it has been great. I've used it for projects of varying complexity like a personal blog and a SPA. I believe much of the complexity fatigue th

This again? What year is it? We need to move past this type of thinking. Most professional services could be automated and yet they are not for a number of reasons. For developers, the unescapable complexity that keeps creeping into project

In general, running a tech company is harder (more complex) than running other kinds of companies but offers significant rewards if you can do it well. The new normal (from the invention of the internet on) would be that tech companies are

The model is broken. Too many people want to learn to code, not everyone can do it well. The only way would be to filter many candidates going in, but the negative press would be huge. So you end up with huge cohorts of people who can'
