I have looked at it but not updated yet, and I don't think I will. v5 looks more like React (effect, props), but it still keeps much of the simplicity from Svelte. I think they wanted to be more explicit so it better supports larger applications with fewer surprises. I don't love the fact that they are creating new abstractions to learn when everyone loved the previous ones, but I can see why they did that. And I think that I'll still have a pleasant experience with v5, but don't quote me on that.
