oDesk gets around this by having a time limit on when feedback can be left. If one party fails to enter feedback, then it posts the other's feedback anyway. Parties can lobby to have the other person change the feedback, but only if they l

FYI--what you describe is not limited to eBay. I sell software through PayPal and I have been defrauded by someone who downloaded, marked it as "Significantly not as described". Once they did that, my money was pulled. I proved the buyer

That's the beauty of FizzBuzz, you don't really need other tests. It weeds out the dead wood very quickly and when you have 10 resumes to walk through in a week, that's a handy thing. Best to know this early on to avoid wasting your time

The font you have on the menus is hard to read. I know it matches the title element well, but at a smaller size, I had to stop and think about each menu item. That will probably reduce interaction if thought has to go into each item's lab

I see, but the real question is this: "Do people wake up in the morning and say to themselves, 'Holy crap, how am I going to save and share videos today?'" I don't think they do, which is why this particular idea and implementation aren't g

Talking to people, the single most frequent first response is “I don’t get it”. Then we take the time to explain it and then they are like “Oh, I see. That’s cool”. You said you failed to connect with people on an emotional level, but I w

Since you asked, I can point you to a website I run that answers that exact question: http://howtobuyawebsite.org I wrote an ebook on that very topic to help answer those particular fears and concerns for first-time or new buyers.

This is not Noah's first transgression in a similar vein: http://sherprog.com/2011/07/10/noah-kagan-and-the-faceless-b... While I support Noah's right to say what he wants to say in the US, I do believe that his attention-grabbing tactic

I like the 3-word simplicity of the OP's conclusion. In practice, however, what developers decide is "Simple", "Elegant" or "Succinct" (the noun of brevity, which escapes me here), doesn't always overlap. In fact, with the non-10x crowd,
