Exactly, I believe almost all of the Jakarta EE standard is supported on Spring Boot. Micronauts is another framework. I do know some enterprises that still run JBoss so it’s not entirely like no one would use this. However, they are all in

There’s a whole style of coding dedicated to that very notion. It’s called test driven development.

>”but then devs would be tempted to reuse them” Isn’t that the fucking point? Having a 2000 line function is a code smell so bad, I don’t care how well the function works. It’s an automatic review fail in my book. Abstractions, closures,

I wholeheartedly disagree. Linear functions like this promote laziness in variable naming (var a1, c_tfr, bvf, etc). This also leads to buggy side effects such as having multiple nested if statements performing a plenko-machine determinatio

Unity went public. Bombed, and merged with IronSource, a notorious malware spam mobile ad company. It’s always about milking their install base. https://blog.unity.com/news/welcome-ironsource

I’m aware of the various assets stores and anyone who compares them has never used Unity’s. There’s plenty of places to get 3D models. There’s one place to get game ready, rigged, low poly, high quality models and assets. Every store requ

Disney thanks you. No one else uses that engine really. It’s perfectly fine for 2008. It doesn’t have a modern rendering pipeline, doesn’t support DX12, Vulkan, or Metal. If that’s your requirements, use my engine Reactor3D.

There’s quite a few. The biggest one right now is Godot. There’s still MonoGame, Open3D, Unreal, and others. Unity has one thing these others don’t (outside of Unreal) and that’s a healthy asset store. Solo indie devs aren’t necessarily the

This is exactly what’s happening. Studios’ strategies are moving off of Unity. None of the ones I know are going to do any further development in the engine on any future projects. One studio is rewriting their game right now to run on Godo

Yeah, even a seasoned engineer would take as long. The issue with porting C# code from Unity to <engine> is the different ABI. It’s like trying to port Win32 C++ code to MacOS with the minimal cocoa obj-c required. In the end, they ar

The contract is part of closing. Like you said, it’s part of the deed. These cases the community was built by builders for the HOA to manage. In this case, the deed you sign for your house is the contract for HOA. This isn’t Fannie Mae, o

It absolutely is NOT. The issue is when you buy a home in an HOA, you sign a contract with that HOA (outlining these rules and regulations) that is enforced in courts (it’s a signed contract). They are no better than collection agencies, no

There are levels. To authorize usually only billing zip is required. For a full ACH or a “full authorization”, you need the full billing address and name to match name on card. PCI-DSS.

lol, no. Not autogenerate midi (although their latest versions of BiaB are pretty darn good now) but generate waveforms together. It would be similar to having AI generate whole scores of music but ensuring it's all in sync and in key.
