That source (Free Press) is an advocacy organization, so it by definition presents one side of a story. The pros without the cons, or something. I'm in the boat where I trust companies more than I trust the government, and believe that

Startups existed just fine before 2015 (when the repealed regulation was passed.) So why this now? I loathe Comcast & AT&T as much as any other person, but it seems like this issue has been sensationalized/editorialized so that

FWIW, many of my friends cash out from Coinbase and GDAX regularly. I have heard of occassional delays but nothing like "you can't cash out." (Looks like about 3 days processing time from usual 1 day now for wires due to sudd

Given how slow BTC transfers are now (can be 1+ day out of gdax), you would need to keep sizable amounts of BTC on each exchange and rebalance periodically. While technically opportunities exist daily (compare the huge difference in prices

IIRC like-kind treatment was never made available, with the new tax plan or without.

But the same would happen for any similar-functioning market. If every AAPL shareholder tried to simultaneously sell for $173.97 (current price), many would end up disappointed. Instead, the article seems like FUD that would confuse non-tec

Did not know this. Is there a technical reason it works like this? In Ethereum, for example, if you're sending 0.1 ETH, you will just send that amount (no change address).
