Yes, but that's my point. Where I'm currently living (UK, south coast) it's 15C at 77% RH outside, so to get below 50% RH inside the temperature needs to be at least 22C (which it isn't). It's not uncommon for the h

Why is it so underfunded? The first country to build one will be taking a big step to reducing their dependence on other countries for energy. I can understand big oil exporters not wanting to push it too much (although it's unlikely t

The CDC has some recommendations on it (yes you can have mold tested to see if it's dangerous): https://www.cdc.gov/mold/stachy.htm I'm not really sure about keeping the humidity below 50% though. The UK and

Yeah, if you want to buy a new car or iPhone in Minsk, it's going to cost you the same as in SF (and maybe more).

Still seems to be true, even within countries the discrepancy is pretty bad. They give the formula, but don't have a calculator, but you can use their "Move" calculator to estimate it: https://about.gitlab.com&#x2F

I remember reading an article a few months ago (I guess here) about a precursor to GPS based navigation for cars that used inertial guidance. You needed to set the location when you started driving, but after that it just used inertial guid

My father had to catch and release a bat which flew into our house a few years ago. Even though he wasn't knowingly bitten or scratched, our GP still recommended he have the vaccine just in case.

This is the same in most of Europe too. They don't explicitly charge different prices, but a lot of carriers offer something like free Instagram data or substantially discounted access to Spotify. Although they will just argue it'

It's an interesting proposal, but it seems like it would work best for more equatorial regions. In my not too northern location, that would mean in the summer I get up 5 hours earlier than in the winter.

DST works pretty well for London and the south of England, but if you go somewhere more north, say Aberdeen, the sun doesn't rise until nearly 9am in the winter and sets before 3:30pm. [0] In the summer it's light enough to drive

Why does push notifications on Android require the app to be running? On iOS, as I understand, you tell Apple to send a notification, which is received by a service on the device, which triggers your app to do a little processing and show t

I tried Banished which works perfectly, it's hard to tell any difference from native. I have integrated graphics though, so maybe if you are looking to play an FPS at 144Hz you might notice it...
