Microsoft have done a pretty good job with Windows 10 when you first set it up. By default it reads out all the prompts for setting up your PC with Cortana, so if you wish you can setup everything via voice. I haven't ever tried it, so

Meh I have a T470s that has most things here, compared to the Apple equivalent it's got plenty of connectivity and physical ports built in without the need for dongles. I wouldn't mind having a hot swappable battery though...

The Nokia Classic phones are probably the closest released phone that fits this criteria so far. I recently got a Nokia 105 (2017) for my parents as the bespoke charger on their old phone broke, and it was cheaper to get a new phone. I play

It sounds like it has some basis in what happens, but how does that give them better postage rates? Surely they still need to go to their local post office, in China, or is it a scam the local post office is involved in too?

I'd say there are three main reasons for Britain's lower maintenance spending: 1) Compared to France and Germany the climate and environment is a lot simpler. We don't have lots of mountains with tunnels, the temperature bare

Are there any good XMPP clients that provide a "modern" messenger experience? For example seamlessly switching between online/offline mode, built in audio and video calls, sharing photos/videos.

On iOS Google Photos doesn't sync automatically unless you open the app regularly. On Android it runs in the background, so your photos are backed up even if you don't open the app. I'm not sure if it's an iOS limitation

For a comparison, the other week I drove 4000km across Europe and most of the speed cameras I came across were in areas where the speed actually makes a difference i.e. in towns and residential areas. Along a three lane motorway it doesn’t
