I agree with your premise, but just as a counterpoint, I'd add that many licensed professionals have a continuing education requirement designed expressly for learning new skills (63 hours per 3 years in my state, for dentists).

Looks nice! Seems like you've thought of all the basics. Easy to miss the drop target though (testing this at a bit past midnight) – seems like it would be easy to make that larger (or just make the whole window a drop target for the C

Some low-cost CDNs allow this, like BelugaCDN and BunnyCDN, probably others, with a web GUI for setup.

Same boat, I will add: - Firebase has tooling for user export now, you can migrate away - Custom JWT token auth means you can build / extend your auth system in the future - Firebase Auth is free and really easily decoupled from the ot

Bunny CDN is a great option if you want to drag and drop or FTP a website update (without a build step). Dirt cheap, and incredibly simple.

I'm flabbergasted that any founder would respond like this. A lot of people who would have given you the benefit of the doubt just got the opposite impression of your company after reading this response.

Since there's so much depth (thickness) in the bezel, you need more margins around the readable content to account for shadows. One solution would be to use a mat board to separate the content from the frame (instead of wasting e-ink s

Honestly you could call this growing pains. You probably won't have this problem at a scale that matters early enough to worry about it now. But, eventually, every B2B SaaS hits a bunch of the same payment & compliance growth block

The optimist in me wonders if it was simply easier to make an Electron alternative run well on Windows, instead of rebuilding their native apps to meet arbitrary internal goals.

I only have anecdotal answers, but a few of the South Korean and Chinese video-game related deaths were caused by cardiac arrest and dehydration. I always assumed the unspoken part was that the gamers were using some mild stimulants (at lea

I love Stripe, it's amazing. For the 95% use-case it works better than all of the alternatives for payments in North America. But it's the last 5% - 15% that will keep you up at night and/or eat up your time. Accepting paymen

I would have used this in ~2005. Seems like you were just slightly late to market. CS2's built in tool to slice PSD -> HTML kind of sucked and required a lot of post-processing work.
