I like the idea of rebuilding Heroku without the command line. It's not for me, but it's probably for somebody. There's just too much of a premium for this over a standard DigitalOcean droplet though. At the low end you'

If you're their largest customer, and there are no alternative suppliers, leverage works both ways -- but it's beside the point. TSMC does multi-year low-scale runs of new processes to figure out tooling and reduce errors, before

There aren't really subsidies for TSMC here in Taiwan. I would say labor cost is relatively cheap (compared to western countries), and security is relatively high (compared to the Chinese ecosystem). A big reason it happened here is pr

Majority of TSMC operations are in Hsinchu. The only TSMC fabs in mainland china are a few generations old (14nm process). Nothing state-of-the-art will ever be made there, the joint-venture just serves some cost efficiencies for low-end ch

This looks amazing. First test went incredibly well, easy to set up. Enjoying the VM approach vs. extension. Will monitor this to see how our tests perform over time.

While I like this a lot, I don't like the idea of creating a new customer in Stripe every time someone signs up as a free user. Perhaps this works better for other types of businesses.
