I agree. I have the 12 and I miss the comfortable round edges of the previous generations.

I have a yeti and XLR mics and lavalier mics. For ease of use without hassle the Yeti is good but you must use the right setting and account for gain. It picks up a decent amount of ambient sound. That extra noise will muddy your vocals. I’

So Apple can do segmentation aka user tracking at a group level because it doesn't expose the group IDs. Yet, we as consumers don't have transparency into the segments we inhibit. I am not sold that Apple's segment solution t

Isn't Google doing the same or less based on only browser data? How does each solution differ in entropy? I didn't get that from Apple's policy page. I am genuinely trying to understand and this isn't a snarky comment.

I wish someone could explain how Apple does this with advertising segments. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205223 > Segments We create segments, which are groups of people who share similar characteristics, and u

Add to it that that one investment requires the capital to invest. I have no connections outside of my career bubble and those people are seemingly in the same class as I am. How would I ever supersede my class?...or should I even aspire to

I was very close to moving to Austin for the lower cost of living and retaining a tech salary. I ultimately decided against uprooting my family in California. I like Austin but my body likes the Mediterranean weather of Southern California

I rode year round in Chicago. When weather was too extreme and unreasonable I took public transportation.

I watched the first four seasons. I should rewatch the show including the later ones.

You are saying the market will go south when 401Ks as a trend stop?

I was trying to make a point, not well, that cultural trends are hard to understand while you are living them.

What side of the counter culture position would you have been while MLK was pushing for reform? Would your line "its clear which way the cultural winds are blowing today" align with the prejudice side? I think so. Do you look back

They run surveys that ask questions like "do you prefer advertising that appeals to you? or "are you more likely to make a purchase based on relevant advertising?" People assume that the questions are asking broadly "do

Agree but kid trends are hard to fight. There is a lot of kid baggage that comes with pushing children to adopt non-mainstream ideals or games or clothes or content etc. There has to be a nice middle ground.

That is the game the studios have been playing. Larger investments, higher risk, but more calculated same-ness with high appeal to the 4 quadrants. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-quadrant_movie Netflix has turned t

I lost my sister to a glioma a few years back. I've always known that eventually better treatments would become available, but this is novel and not something I envisioned. I hope it works and saves children who have these brain tumors

I understand your POV and can empathize. I tell myself similar affirmations. "Our users value our features and content. They connect to the world for the better using us." But, I can't shake the truth of our business model –

I've been running Live 10 just fine on M1. Is there something I am missing? Push 2 works fine too. I haven't gotten around to installing 11.

It is not that simple. Facebook can also customer data from a variety of sources and parties. In addition, it will share measurement data to outside parties. Even if the data shared outside its walls is translated to a new ID, you still end
