I liked that you used Animoto for a promo video, but I found my interest waning after about a minute and I eventually switched it off (the quick cuts don't work well with longer vids) I think if you concentrated 1 or 2 ideas into each video

I wasn't planning to ask it too difficult a question as I really don't feel like waiting hours for a response... although given the circumstances I don't think it matters. Its now 1:30am, I'm just about to head to bed and still have been un

Except that that figure is quite high when you consider other nation's rates of infection For example, Australia's rate of HSV-2 is around 12% while the UK is around 10% even though we have fairly similar cultural backgrounds when it comes

Just because ChaCha got funding, doesn't necessarily make it a good idea. I've never used it before, so I decided to give both it, Google, Yahoo, Live Search and Ask.com the same search phrase in response to this comment and see what the re

In Australia, we have a phrase for this kind of attitude. It's called "Tall Poppy Syndrome" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tall_poppy_syndrome

I disagree, it is more than possible - it was the likely outcome. As Shakespeare once wrote "If you prick us, do we not bleed?" I think the problem is that people are blurring the lines between the professional Arrington and the personal

I don't think it really matters - I try to contribute to the great little community here, provide whatever insight, argument or counter-argument that I can. The only times I've put in a "I know I'm going to get downmodded for this" are when

I don't think that's necessarily right. Anyone motivated enough to take an "extreme" action against someone else (eg spitting on them) could be argued that they are not necessarily in a right frame of mind and more or less going to do it re

How about an app that kind of automatically airbrushes pics that you upload to it so that you can then upload them to other sites?

Totally agree, look at animoto, they took an idea (slideshows) that had a clear market leader (slideshare) and its basically slideshows on crack. They've even outdone themselves with the iphone app for example.

I completely disagree with what you're saying. I'm not sure if you've stood back and had a look at just how much flack Michael actually cops from day to day. Sure, he may simply ignore a lot of it - but eventually if you're getting attacked

I guess the person who spat on Michael really showed his level of integrity. I respect the guy (Arrington) professionally, I've never met him so I can't comment on him personally but this type of shit is totally not cool. I know you occasio

What you're describing is much more art than science. Which is funny, since this following phrase comes direct from the course syllabus. The primary goal is for students to learn, enjoy the art of competitive StarCraft, and have fun.
