I'm also in favor of returning governance to the stats and we're probably in disagreement about a lot of things. Seems like an easy political win for Washington would be to return power to the states

Depression, suicide, drug abuse, supply shortages, inflation, people not returning to the workforce. A year ago you would have been cancelled for daring to voice negative consequences to lockdowns

Announcing closed mindedness.... not something I would ever want to do but I can see how its helpful in letting people know not to waste their time. Is there a reverse of this? As in, I have an opinion but am open to hearing others and thei

The interesting part of the equation is how allocation shifts with political parties. In the last few cycles its been best to load up on assets when Republicans have more control and then switch to more debt when Democrats get in power. Net

Poster is probably insinuating that inflation is higher than reported. I tend to agree with that sentiment but not enough to change this chart meaningfully

Sadly the world no longer values savings and prudence. Might as well jump out on the risk curve and get rewarded with everyone else. Those with the worst loans in '08 were bailed out so there is little downside. I wish it were not this

And neither is the federal reserve in the US. The Federal Reserve is allegedly independent from the government. Does the ECB work in a similar manner?
