Wouldn't people just collect UBI AND steal? The article explicitly mentions that most of the people doing this are also receiving state and feral unemployment benefits
- swayvil 5y agoIf UBI (or feral benefits) fulfilled their needs then I doubt that they would resort to crime.
- missedthecue 5y agoFor some reason, I just don't think the people described in this article are moving millions and millions of dollars of makeup and over-the-counter drugs every year in order to keep their basic needs met.
