After seeing their hiring process[1], good luck finding developers who use Ubuntu and know about OSS contribution. I know I wouldn't bother. [1] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31426558

Interesting theory. I use Dvorak and this didn't pick up anything I was typing.

Thank you, these gave me some ideas. Seems like a safe first step is distilling my commit history into projects, features, and how it helped the business.

On the topic of resumes: what do people put in these things? I haven't job hopped in a while and haven't done any resume work in over 10 years. Anyone have good examples for software developers with the kind of content that gets n

Neat idea. I am getting a ton of jobs that aren't matched location-wise, though. I started with "City, State" and one language as seed tags and hoped it would limit itself to jobs near me.

Thank you! I have RSS feeds set to private by default, so I assumed this wouldn't work. However, I did discover "Private RSS feeds" in the reddit preferences. I can likely feed these into Zapier.

Tried migrating my IFTTT recipes to Zapier and hit a roadblock on the very first one -- bookmarking posts I have saved in Reddit. Botize apparently has no Reddit integration. There's a definite opportunity here. I'd even pay more

The interesting thing about rp is that you can use it as a pipeline in your other Go applications, as the Redis pub/sub "pipe" is exposed as a normal Go io.Reader/io.Writer interface. Might be something worth expanding o

I'm having the opposite problem. I don't use a bicycle, but Google Fit thinks I do. I assume it's confusing my driving with biking, somehow.

This is the way to go. It took me a while to realize that "normal" people don't really care about visual appeal as long as you're solving their problem and making them money. Start with something like Zurb or Bootstrap and fix their problem
